HandMade Giftstore is an online retailer in Thane, Maharashtra selling gifts — 23
of them at present, split between personalised pieces carrying an initial and ready-to-give sets that need nothing
chosen. We sell online and ship across India; there is no counter to walk into.
Why the shop is this small
A gift shop with three thousand items is not a gift shop, it is a search box. The reason people buy a present
badly is that they are given too much to look at and no way to narrow it, so they pick the thing with the best
photograph and hope.
We keep the range at a size we can describe properly. Every item here has a written description that says what
it is, what it is made of, and what it will not do — a canvas tote that is not waterproof, a golden mug
finish that does not survive a dishwasher, a hamper that contains toiletries with a shelf life. Those sentences
lose us a sale now and then. They also stop the returns that a vague description guarantees.

Monogrammed drinkware, initial totes and pouches, and small
keepsakes with a letter on them. Made in an A to Z range, so the letter is chosen by you.
Ready-to-give gift sets
Bath and body hampers from 9 to 21 pieces, keepsake books
and trays, and a few practical gifts. These arrive complete and need nothing decided.
The one thing worth reading before you order
About personalised items. Ten of the gifts here are made in an
A to Z range and there is no dropdown on this site to choose from. Put the initial in the order notes box
at checkout, or reply to the order confirmation email with it. We write back naming the letter before anything is
packed, and if we have not heard from you we ask rather than guess. That can add a day; it is worth the day.
What we do not do
We do not publish customer reviews on this site, and there are none to find here. We do not claim to
manufacture anything — we are a retailer, and the items are bought in. And we do not carry a GST
registration number, which is covered plainly below rather than hidden.
Tax
HandMade Giftstore is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST:
turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory.
GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can
be issued. The figure printed beside a gift is the whole amount payable.
